1. The service
Apply Remote is a remote job board with optional tools: a CV builder, an AI cover letter generator and an application tracker. Browsing and searching jobs is free and needs no account. Saving and tracking applications needs a free account. The CV builder and AI cover letters are part of the paid Pro plan.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Do not share logins or create accounts to avoid limits or bans.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Job listings and applications
Listings come from third-party sources and employers. We do not employ you, we are not a recruiter, and we do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, current or still open. When you apply, you apply directly on the employer’s own site and their terms and privacy policy apply to that application. We are not a party to any hiring decision or employment relationship.
Always check an employer independently. Never pay money to apply for a job.
4. Paid plans and billing
- The Pro plan is billed monthly in US dollars through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and may change with notice.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
- We may change plan features and limits. If a change materially reduces your paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
5. Your content
You own the CVs, cover letters, notes and other content you create. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display that content so we can run the service for you, including sending the details you provide to AI providers to generate drafts. You are responsible for making sure your content is accurate and that you have the right to use it.
AI-generated text can contain mistakes. Review everything before you send it to an employer.
6. Acceptable use
- No scraping, bulk downloading or resale of job listings or other service content.
- No attempts to break, probe or overload the service, or to access other users’ data.
- No unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or misleading content, including fake CV details.
- No automated applications or use of the service to spam employers.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The Apply Remote name, design, software and templates belong to us or our licensors. Job listings belong to the employers and sources that publish them. These terms give you no right to use our brand or code beyond using the service normally.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will get you a job. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from settings or by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service. Sections that by nature should survive (for example ownership, disclaimers and liability) continue after termination.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Apply Remote after that means you accept the updated terms. Questions: [email protected].
