1. Who these terms are for
You accept these terms when you create an employer account or buy a posting plan. If you sign up for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it and to post its jobs.
2. What you can post
- Real, open, fully remote jobs that your company intends to fill.
- An accurate title, description, pay (if you show it) and a working link or email address where people apply.
- Nothing that asks candidates for money, bank details, ID documents or other sensitive information before an offer.
- Nothing discriminatory, misleading, illegal, or that promotes a business model rather than a job.
Jobs that need office days or a fixed location are not remote jobs and will not be published.
3. Review and approval
Every job is reviewed before it goes live, usually within one business day. We may reject a job, ask for a change, or take a live job offline if it breaks these terms or looks like a scam. If we reject a job before it is published, your posting credit is returned so you can fix it and send it again.
4. Plans, prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars on the employers page and are one-time payments. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. A Basic or Featured plan gives one posting credit, and the Hiring Bundle gives five. Posting credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your card details.
A launch offer or other discount applies only to the order it was shown on and cannot be combined or applied later.
5. How long a job stays online
A published job stays online for 30 days from the day it is approved, unless you close it earlier or we take it down under these terms. Featured placement lasts as long as the listing, and homepage exposure for Featured jobs lasts 7 days. Closing a job early does not return its credit.
6. Refunds
If a job you paid for is never published, or we cannot deliver the plan you bought, we will refund it. You can also ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase if the credit has not been used. Once a job has been published, the credit is used and is not refundable, except where the law says otherwise. To ask, email [email protected] with your company name and order.
When an order is refunded, its unused credits are removed.
7. Applications and candidate data
You choose for each job whether people apply on Apply Remote or on your own website. When they apply on Apply Remote, you receive their name, email, optional phone number, links, note and CV in your dashboard, and we keep each application for 12 months. From the moment you receive it, you are responsible for that personal data: use it only to consider the person for the job, keep it secure, and delete it when you no longer need it.
When people apply on your own website, you handle their information in your own system. We add ?ref=applyremote to that link so you can see which applicants came from us.
8. Your account and team
The account owner is responsible for what is posted under the company, including by teammates they invite. Teammates can post and edit jobs and use the company’s credits. Only the owner can buy plans, see invoices and change the company profile.
9. Invoices
Each paid order has an invoice you can print or save as a PDF. Add your legal company name, address and VAT or tax ID in your company profile before you need the invoice.
10. Contact
