About the role

Win new business. Build lasting partnerships. £50,000 to £60,000 realistic first-year OTE.

Supplier Sales Executive

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 basic, £50,000 to £60,000 realistic first year OTE.

Location: London EC3R. Currently fully remote, with an expected move to approximately two days a week in the London office.

Build the pipeline, lead the conversation and close the deal. If you enjoy taking a new business opportunity from first approach to signed agreement, this role gives you ownership of that process and commission linked to the sales you deliver.

At Working Futures, you’ll sell commercial partnership opportunities to suppliers who want to connect with senior HR and People decision makers. You’ll draw on a substantial data pool built over 14 years while generating and developing opportunities through your own prospecting.

About Working Futures

Working Futures brings senior HR and People leaders together through events, insight and business connections, helping them explore workplace challenges and find relevant solutions. You’ll help suppliers understand how its services and partnership opportunities can connect them with this audience.

What you’ll do

Identify and approach prospective suppliers and commercial partners through outbound calls, email and LinkedIn.

Build and manage your own pipeline, qualifying opportunities and agreeing clear next steps.

Lead consultative meetings, understand commercial objectives and present relevant proposals.

Handle objections, negotiate terms and close new business.

Keep your CRM accurate, organise follow-up and take responsibility for your sales results.

You’ll report to the supplier team leader and take ownership of the full sales cycle.

What you’ll bring

B2B sales experience that includes personally winning new customers.

Evidence of building a pipeline and converting opportunities into measurable sales.

Confidence speaking with senior decision makers and explaining commercial value.

Practical CRM experience and an organised approach to follow-up.

The initiative to work independently, adapt your approach and keep opportunities moving.

Experience in events, sponsorship or the HR sector is desirable, rather than essential. Your sales approach, results and ownership of the process matter most.

Commission that reflects your results

The tiered scheme offers rates from 5% to 12% on qualifying sales. Your achieved rate applies to the full qualifying amount, with commission becoming payable after the client has paid.

What to expect from the interview process

The process starts with a live video interview with our recruitment partner, followed by a live video interview with the hiring manager at Working Futures.

For stage two, you’ll prepare a three-to-five-minute pitch explaining how you would build your pipeline over your first four weeks, three months and six months.

How to apply

Apply with your CV, highlighting your new business sales results.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
